A tribal women-led farmer producer company, Murhu Nari Shakti Kisan Producer Company Limited from Khunti was declared Joint Winner of the FPO of the Year – Large Category at a national livelihoods summit highlighting the role of farmer collectives. The organisation, continues to strengthen rural enterprises through long-standing partnerships and the Lakhpati Kisan initiative.
CInI won the prestigious Ashden Award at the function, held in London on the 14th of November 2023, for its work with the women who have been anchoring the integration of Decentralized Renewable Energy within the Agriculture value chain through the Production Hub approach in Lakhpati Kisan Program.
The award was conferred by the Department of Energy and Net Zero, Government of the United Kingdom, in partnership with Ashden.
