Uplifting the communities in the Central Indian belt, since 2007

About Us

Collectives for Integrated Livelihood Initiatives (CInI) is a resource organization committed to improving the overall quality of life in rural and tribal regions across the Central India belt, spanning the states of Odisha, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Gujarat. Established in 2007 as an associate organization of Tata Trusts, CInI has pioneered several scalable and impactful programs across key thematic areas—Livelihoods, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WaSH), Education, Sports, and Health & Nutrition. All our initiatives are aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 2030 and have received recognition on national and international platforms.

At the heart of CInI’s approach are community-led institutions, women’s collectives, and frontline workers. Collaborating with Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) and State Governments, we strategically leverage markets, technology, and robust processes to drive large-scale effectiveness and sustainability of our interventions. CInI thrives on the strength of over 300 professionals working across our intervention geographies, efficiently supporting diverse functions such as program implementation, monitoring and evaluation, knowledge management, and administration.
