Roles and Responsibilities

You will be responsible for monitoring progress, facilitating communication, and providing support where needed. Your strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills will be vital in building relationships with community members, partners, and other relevant organizations.

  • Working in sub cluster for ensuring and building capacities of communities for implementing varies livelihood programs.
  • Facilitating the community organization and capacity building interventions in the programme villages of Jhumpura, Keonjhar District and Sukruli, Mayurbhanj District
  • Active engagements with the farmers to ensure optimal utilization of land and water resources available with the community through active engagement on capacity building, planning and developing total agriculture process on an ongoing basis;
  • Provide field support to the village level service providers/ Community Resource persons for effective work planning and discharge of their responsibilities;
  • To promote/ensure the improved package of practices that sustainably enhance productivity.
  • To assist farmers, particularly women and small-holders, in acquiring new knowledge, skills and resources for making agriculture economically viable and sustainable.
  • Implementation of the livelihood programs in assigned villages.
  • Support in collating data across clusters for the agriculture-based programmes; and preparing the relevant reports and developing the success stories.
  • Formation of FPO, Supportive supervision of implementation of the key activities by the farmers.
  • Local innovations, Nursery promotions (i.e. Solar, Sprinklers and Shade nets etc)
Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications

Graduation or Post graduation in technical stream or management

Experience

  • Fresher or 1-2 years’ experience in livelihood project.
  • Ability to complete time bound assignment
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written in English and Odia
  • Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse team, spread across diverse geographies and to deliver in a time bound program
  • Location of Operation: Field location (Ready to move at the earliest after selection)
  • Willing to travel to remote field locations as & when required
