Since 2007, Collectives for Integrated Livelihood Initiatives (CInI) has been committed to improving the well-being of rural and tribal communities across the Central Indian belt. Our goal is simple: to empower communities, especially the tribal households, by empowering them wards increasing their income sustainably and enhance their overall quality of life.
Over the past 16 years, CInI has continuously refined its approach to holistic development, pioneering scalable programs in agriculture-based livelihoods, education, drinking water and sanitation, and primary healthcare systems. These programs are anchored by community-led institutions, ensuring sustainability and effectiveness on the ground.
Our flagship initiative, “Lakhpati Kisan,” has successfully enabled over 100,000 small and marginal tribal families to move out of poverty in an irreversible manner. Our success lies in our ability to understand the aspirations of the community, along with understanding their needs and leverage existing ecosystems to provide long-term solutions. Building on our experience with livelihood initiatives, CInI has expanded its focus to include education, sports, health, renewable energy, and water and sanitation at the community level. Our core principle remains centered on meeting the needs and aspirations of households and communities.
The rural-tribal communities of the Central Indian belt face unique challenges that hinder their development. Our “Lakhpati Kisan ” initiative aims to overcome these obstacles, with a focus on integrating water and sanitation, education, and strengthening health systems.
As we work towards uplifting over 200,000 households from poverty and align with sustainable development goals, we prioritize towards strengthening the community institutions, along with building partnerships with relevant stakeholders, enabling the growth and sustainability.
CInI has been playing a facilitation role, with the community institutions at the core and bringing in partners such as government, markets, technology, financial institutions, etc for the overall growth and scale.
