This #InternationalWomensDay, we celebrate the inspiring journey of Churchu Nari Urja Farmer Producer Company Limited (CNUFPCL)—a shining example of women-led agricultural transformation in Jharkhand, pioneering change not just in farming but also in livestock and lac cultivation.
Founded in 2018 in Churchu, Hazaribagh, this women-run FPC started as a small initiative and has now grown into a thriving community of 7,500 women farmers and 3,800 shareholders, driving economic empowerment and sustainability.

Collectives for Integrated Livelihood Initiatives (CInI) working along with the rural and tribal communities to enable them meeting their aspirations has been proactively focusing on building their capabilities on water resource development and management.
On the #worldwaterday2024, our communities and we commit towards proactively engaging and actioning all efforts towards sustainable water resources development and management. The lead on this focused engagement will be by our community institutions with CInI bringing in the key stakeholders towards actioning and strengthening the effort on overall water management.
CInI aims to transform the lives of tribal households in the Central India tribal belt, through building knowledge and scaling up programmes in thematic areas of agricultural productivity stabilization, forest based livelihoods, water resource development, drinking water and sanitation, microfinance and strengthening community based organisations.

It’s not just about Srimati. 750 farmers like her in Odisha and Jharkhand are reaping the benefits of solar pumps. These compact wonders are designed for small farms and are easy to carry and operate.
Duga’s story is one of countless nurtured by CInI’s Regional Development Center (RDC) program. Launched in 2016, RDC provides a platform for rural talents, equipping them with training, exposure, and guidance.
