About CInI:
CInI (Collectives for Integrated Livelihood Initiatives) is committed to empowering tribal and rural communities in the Central Indian belt through holistic programmes in agriculture, water, sanitation, education and health.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage directly with community-based organizations (CBOs), farmer collectives and women’s self-help groups to facilitate livelihood enhancements and income-generation activities.
  • Support rollout of the flagship “Lakhpati Kisan™ – Smart Villages” programme: liaise with small and marginal farmers, assist in high-value agriculture, horticulture, livestock and non-timber forest product (NTFP) interventions. cinicell.org
  • Conduct baseline, monitoring and evaluation of livelihood initiatives; prepare progress reports, case-studies, and impact narratives.
  • Facilitate trainings, exposure visits, workshops for community members on best agricultural/water/sanitation practices, enterprise development, and climate resilience.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Education, WaSH, Renewable Energy) to ensure integrated delivery and linkages across programmes.
  • Travel to rural/tribal villages (primarily in Jharkhand, Odisha, Gujarat) and support field teams; manage logistics, community mobilisation and stakeholder engagement.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Rural Development, Social Sciences or relevant field; Master’s preferred.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on field experience in rural livelihood programmes, preferably in tribal/remote areas.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills in Hindi and preferably one regional language (e.g., Jharkhand dialects/tribal languages).
  • Proven track record in working with farmer collectives, women’s groups, enterprise models, agricultural value-chains or NTFP.
  • Comfortable with travel and working in remote conditions; self-motivated, with strong organisational skills.
  • Analytical ability for data-driven reporting and insights; familiarity with Microsoft Office, Google Suite.
  • Passion for development, empathy for marginalised communities, alignment with CInI’s mission and values.
